About the Grower and Maker

Grower - Stuart Barclay

I have been a part of growing grapes since the family planted the vineyard, also owning my own vineyard and managing a company vineyard in my younger years. Moving back to the family farm with my family as a second-generation grower is an exciting time in my life. My wife and daughters, four of them, call Wondalma home. We feel extremely blessed with our life, living in one of the most picturesque parts of the country. Literally living the dream.

Maker - Campbell Meeks

I grew up in a rural town just outside of Sydney. I was the animal lover and was all about food as a child and wanted to pursue a career in the food industry. I started working as a chef in Sydney in the mid 90’s and, by the year 2000, was fully qualified and working at the Sheraton on the Park in the middle of Sydney. It was around this time I was looking to move out of the industry and began studying Wine Science at CSU, Wagga Wagga starting in 2005. Since then, I have worked in various wine regions in Australia and France completing vintages in the Yarra Valley, Mclaren Vale, St Cecile and now Canberra. I live with my Family in Wagga Wagga and work close by the vineyard in the snowy valleys.
